Founded in 2007 by Dr. John Ijem, a cardiologist with Inlet Cardiopulmonary & Associates in Murrells Inlet, SC, H.E.L.P. was the liaison connecting well respected medical staff with patients in need in Dr. Ijem’s native country, Nigeria.

Today H.E.L.P. is comprised of professionals and volunteers throughout Georgetown County who share their medical expertise, time and wellness equipment to diagnose and treat indigent patients locally and abroad.
