TNT Sports

The idea of TNT Sports came about in 2005, and in 2008, TNT Sports was formed by two brothers on a mission to give back to the community and most importantly teach kids.
Jay and Joe Don Reames both played Division one baseball at rival schools and both played at the professional level in baseball. However, the route in the pros were extremely different. Jay turned down a pro contract out of high school to sign his letter of intent to the University of South Carolina and Joe Don signed his to play football at Clemson University. As things worked out, Jay transferred from the University of South Carolina instate to The Citadel to team back up with the oldest of Reames brothers, Britt. Joe Don lettered in baseball (1999) and in football (1999,2000,2001) while he was at Clemson before signing a free agent contract to play for the Texas Rangers.
After both brothers finished their athletic careers and after experiencing life after sports, “the real world, “that’s when TNT became a joint vision for Jay and Joe Don as each have similar but diverse sports backgrounds at high levels. Spending all their lives playing sports from little league, to earning college scholarships, to signing pro contracts. Which all in all positioned them to be where they are today. Top Notch Training is a dream made reality by two brothers and best friends, who have created an enormous platform to use what they have learned to give back, pass it on, and pay it forward.
With growth comes expansion, and TNT did just that in 2016. TNT now operates in a baseball specific building with Jay and Joe Don steps away in a stand-alone sports performance building built for elite athletes but open to all. Jay and Joe Don together have over 40 years of experience to offer.
