Dr. Arena received her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and graduated from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA. She then practiced conventional medicine as a board certified Ob/Gyn physician for 15 years before she had her own awakening.
“I have always had an interest in the art as well as the science of healing. In May of 2016, I went to a conference on Integrative Medicine in Women’s Health. I could not believe there was so much out there that I hadn’t learned in conventional medical training to help my patients, my family and myself. My passion for healing was reignited and for me, there was no turning back. I went on to complete a fellowship and board certification in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine. I have the privilege of having both a traditional and an integrative perspective of healthcare.
I love working with young teens through those experiencing perimenopause, menopause and beyond. We address issues related to the thyroid, digestion, stress management, weight and hormone imbalances.
My expertise in balancing hormones with a whole lifestyle approach including bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), has allowed countless women to get their lives back. That is what truly drives me and brings me joy. It is my goal to help you create an optimal and vibrant life.
