Located three blocks from the center of the village with its wonderful restaurants, shops, and art galleries, Veranda House Bed and Breakfast is also a short walk to the Dutchess County Fair Grounds, the location of county, antique, craft, and old car fairs. Plenty of off street parking is provided. The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College is 10 minutes drive from Veranda House.

Veranda House Bed and Breakfast serves full Gourmet Breakfasts with fresh fruit, homemade pastries and a variety of breakfast entrees: crispy orange french toast, a variety of crepes, berry blintzes, savory bread pudding, tomato-sausage tart, and banana pancakes. Every effort is made to cater to special dietary needs, especially if notified in advance. Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the garden, weather permitting.
