Union Grove High School Bands
The Union Grove band was established when Union Grove High School in McDonough, GA, opened in August 2000. Our program currently consists of two symphonic/concert bands, jazz band, percussion ensemble, and marching band (the Marching Wolverines).
Highlights from recent years include:
Multiple consecutive years with All Superior ratings at Large Group Performance Evaluations (LGPE)
Marching in the 2009 Sugar Bowl parade
Numerous years of having students earn places in District Honor Band
Watching members continue in marching band or color guard at the college level (University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Southern University, University of Tennessee, and more)
