Striving to enhance the surrounding communities through events, art-based activities, entertainment, and outreach to enrich the lives of youth through visual and performing arts exposure and participation.
The Alliance began by first creating the Banning Center for the Arts Gallery and subsequently adding the first Art Festival in Banning, the Art Hop, a signature event going into its 7th year. Then the Phineas Festival of Lights which is in its 6th year. The Youth Arts Council; the Mural and Banner program; Pass Has Talent; a community Theater called Pass Area Performing Artists (PAPA), and the Healing Arts Program at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital have all come about over the past six years. The Memorial and Sculpture Garden that features a Veteran’s Memorial Wall helps make our site a destination in downtown Banning. In addition, The Alliance regularly brings unique programs and events to its headquarters building in Banning to broaden exposure to all forms of artistic expression.
