We endeavor to enable members to live independently, comfortably, and safely in their homes as they age.
Who We Are
The Athens Village is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded to give Athens Countians age 60+ the confidence and practical ways to live their lives to the fullest in their own homes.
Members organize and plan the activities of the organization, serve on the board, volunteer, and shape the future directions of services and programs. The Athens Village is one of a growing number of such groups across the country with the common goal of enabling senior citizens to age well in their own homes.
