This off the beaten path rustic horse camp was established by Tom and Jean Champion in 1992. Tom was from Michigan and Jean was from New York, after meeting in Texas they had lived many places around the United Stated before settling here in Custer. They established this small horse camp for people to stay with their horse and experience the Black Hills. They always had the coffee on and cookies in the jar, and always some great stories and laughs to share.
