Sweet Lou's Thats Who
In 2013, Ken & Lou established a family owned restaurant and catering service where the slogan “Who’s Cooking? Sweet Lou, that’s Who!” became commonplace for Westville, Indiana residents. Known simply as “Sweet Lou’s,” they proudly served only the best recipes from Lou’s cookbook, showcasing Chicago Style food alongside old-fashioned, home cooked meals in the restaurant.
Dedicated to providing the best food, the best service, and the best experience, Lou’s passion made the difference for many local residents. When COVID-19 forced many small businesses to close worldwide, it damaged both “Sweet Lou’s” restaurant and catering businesses. In 2021, Ken & Lou decided to rebuild in Michigan City, IN, by expanding their catering business. Additionally, their son Jamie established “Full Moon Creamery” to offer homemade ice cream.
