SUSHI HOUSE

Sushi House also known as “Reggae sushi bar” was opened in 1980 by Chef Okyo right at the beginning of the sushi boom. It quickly became renowned for it’s authentic Japanese Sushi and Reggae vibe gaining a large and loyal following. After Sushi House’s success, Chef Okyo began spreading his superb asian gastronomy by opening Taka Sushi and Yabu restaurants in West LA and West Hollywood. Chef Okyo brought these and many other achievements to the Los Angeles food scene and beyond. Today, we continue to provide our customers with the ultimate combination and satisfaction of authentic Japanese cuisine and a tropical Reggae vibe just like we did in the 80’s.
