About Sierra Vista & Owner David
My interest in tree work began when I was young and visiting my grandfather’s tree farm in South Dakota. He showed me how to use a chainsaw, taught me about compromised trees, tree spacing, pruning and so much more that has become useful as this point to my life. I moved to Redding in 2009 where I spent many days and nights working for the CCC on the trail crew. I acquired training and certificates to fall trees for the crew. In 2011 I began working with Larry White and Sierra Vista Tree Service. Larry taught me the finer skills of climbing and shaping trees and “always to do the job the way you would want it done.” In 2013 I started to fall timber for a local logging company all around Northern California.
In 2018 Larry has allowed me the opportunity to keep Sierra Vista Vegetation Removal and Tree Service providing superior services to the North State while he enjoys retirement.
