Aberdeen has provided the place that the Schwan family has called home for 100 years. Our first year in 1934 we were a boxcar that Ignecious Schwan ran a small lunch counter along with a a grocery store. Through the years we have evolved and added on. During a short period the bar was sold but then purchased by Dennis Schwan in July 1972. When Dennis passed in 2006 the family stepped up and took over the business. His sons, Corey and Chris, took over and Corey became the owner in 2012. The family business is one of the foundations of Aberdeen culture.
