Royal Ballroom Dance Studio owners, Oleg Dimitrov & Asya Dimitrova, hail from Bulgaria where they owned four ballroom dance studios and were organizers of televised national ballroom dance competitions. Following their success in Bulgaria, Oleg and Asya relocated to South Africa where they won the Durban South Africa Gold Cup in International Standard Ballroom. After moving to the United States, Oleg received the Top Teacher Award from the New York State Fred Astaire Studios in 2000. Together, Oleg & Asya competed and became finalists in the 2002 Argentine Tango World Championships in Miami where they earned their 6th in the world ranking.
