“And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds.” – Hebrews 10:24
We are commanded by Christ to go into all the world and teach and preach to everyone we interact with that they may hear about the salvation available in Jesus Christ. In addition, we consider how to provoke each other to love and do good deeds in the church and the community. In all of this, the goal is that by the Holy Spirit we will be transformed into imitators of God. As this occurs, not only is the local church transformed, but the community is also in the process of being transformed. This process is called sanctification and is ongoing. On Sunday mornings, in addition to street parking, we are permitted to use the parking lots at Demain’s Funeral Home (Gibbon & S. St. Asaph) and the cleaners at the corner of Franklin and Washington Street.
