Refuge is made up of a diverse consortium of individuals who care deeply about non-profit leaders and desire to see them flourish. All too often, non-profit leaders experience stress and scrutiny that leads to leadership burnout.
The statistics are staggering. We desire to walk alongside leaders in a manner that serves them, refreshes them, and coaches them toward holistic health. Refuge desires to serve people who serve people. By keeping not-for-profit leaders healthy, we believe we can bolster the organizations they lead and make the world a better place. There are plenty of organizations that offer helpful, remedial assistance to burnt-out leaders, their services are needed and valued. However, Refuge desires to avoid leadership burnout through preventative means thereby avoiding preventable crisis.
