POOLE'S TAVERN
In the heart of Downtown Northville, this location has been a tavern since the early 1900’s when it was the Thomas Tavern. There have been several ownership changes through the decades. It has operated as Joe’s Bar, Getzie’s Pub, and finally in 1997 it became Poole’s Tavern. Under the stewardship of the Poole family, the tavern was extensively renovated and the result is the updated, fun atmosphere present today.
Chef Matthew Jagusch has been running the kitchen for more than ten years, and, using only the finest ingredients, has created a very unique and extensive menu. His barbequed baby back ribs, burgers and daily specials are always customer favorites.
Poole’s has won many Taste of Northville awards and was recently chosen as having one of the top burgers in Greater Detroit by the Detroit Free Press. We serve only the highest quality, best tasting beef anywhere in the world…..Certified Angus Beef ® brand.
Owners since 2005 are longtime friends and Northville residents John Lamerato, John Casey and Rob Baidas. They have made Poole’s a dining destination for patrons of all ages.
