Dr. Fung is one of the only dentists in the state of Hawaii that works with the most advanced diagnostic imaging system – called Dental Cone Beam Computerized Tomography “CBCT”, which is capable of 3-dimensional views with the finest resolution and the least radiation as compared to other CBCT/medical CT equipment.
Utilizing the CBCT’s 3-dimensional images, we have minimized the risk of dental implant failure resulting from unknown bone irregularity as well as have been able to diagnose causes of dental pain due to root tip or gum infections and abnormality such as fractures and unfilled extra root canals otherwise impossible to diagnose.
