More than 25 years ago, Virgil and Jan Carner opened Orchard Park Assisted Living because they knew that long-term care could be so much more than a traditional nursing home. So they created a homelike, family environment where older residents who needed 24-hour care could enjoy peace and comfort while getting the assistance they need. Now, their daughter Susan Middleton, RN oversees operations at Orchard Park Assisted Living. Like her parents, Susan is committed to a health-first philosophy that emphasizes familiar comfort and creating moments of joy for each resident.
