Our Mission

Open Hands Pantry takes our inspiration from Matthew 25:35, 40. “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink…”

According to Feeding America, 13.2% of the Anderson County population is “food insecure.” We are challenged to put a stop to this hunger epidemic.

Thanks to the generoisity of Anderson County residents, churches, businesses and God’s Pantry Food Bank, we are making a difference in our community.

Many organizations, one purpose.

We are a partnership among local churches, businesses, schools, and the people of Anderson County.

We are 100% volunteer run and 100% funded by generous donations from our community.
