Matt is a 4th generation farmer. He, along with his parents, grow corn and soybeans in Jackson County, MO. Matt has a versitle background with equipment operation and repair. While he applies chemicals and lime to his own acres, he also offers custom application to surrounding farmers. He started On The Farm Equipment Sales, not only to make a little money, but when he and his Dad were searching for equipment, they found they had to travel further than they really wanted to meet their needs. Matt knew he could fulfill a need that many farmer in his general area had. While many folks are looking for new equipment, there’s a lot of used equipment out there with a lot of life left in it. Matts talent with sales, communication, and repair allows him to offer both new & used equipment as well as assisting other farmers in selling their used equipment on consignment. Ultimately, Matt’s desire is to continue farming just as the 3 generations prior to him has, provide for his family, and assist his neighbors, friends, and other farmers to also prosper.
