No Poor Among Us
The foundation began under the name “Regenesis.” But after reading a religious scripture depicting a story where the people were so righteous they were taken up into Heaven without experiencing death, the name was changed. The story speaks of people being so good that they had “no poor among them.” Having no poor seemed like a wonderful goal to us, which is exactly why we changed the foundation name to No Poor Among Us .
Our mission is to help the women and girls of Mozambique; we want to give them an opportunity to become educated and develop job skills so they too have a chance to create no poor among them.
