NJ Hitchner Farms is a third generation family operated farm. The farm was originally established in1944, by Newlin Johnson Hitchner. When Newlin first started his farm he sold dairy and vegetables. After his passing, his sons took over the 200 acre farm and began grain farming. Today, Newlin’s grandsons, Drew and Zachary Hitchner manage the farm. While they continue to grain farm, they also operate a wholesale nursery, utilizing the same ground on Jericho Road that their grandfather began farming over 75 years ago.
