NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH OF GOD

Our Mission
To minister to the spiritual, social, and physical needs of the people through compassionate service.
The New Testament Church of God…
Formerly known as “Somerville New Testament Church of God,” was first started in the home of one of its founding families; the Halls in 1978. In early 1979, they began to worship in a Community Building in Union Square, Somerville, MA. Meetings consisted of Ladies Meetings, Bible Studies and Prayer Meetings.
The church prospered and began to outgrow the little building in Somerville. In 1982, the Spirit directed Pastor Roberts and Sister Asineth Hall to 25 Stoughton Street, Dorchester, MA, not long after that the church was dedicated and given its new name – the “New Testament Church of God” but is known by most as simply Stoughton Street!
