Surinder Sandhu, MD, is dedicated to bringing her patients only the best at her practice, New Image Medical Spa in Fremont, California. To ensure the highest level of care, she performs every service personally.
Dr. Sandhu started building her medical expertise at Sophia Girls College Ajmer in India, completing her premedical studies there. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Jawaharlal Lal Nehru Medical College, also in Ajmer, India. Next, she completed her residency in anesthesia at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, also in India.
Upon emigrating to the United States, Dr. Sandhu was certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). To further legitimize her medical career here, she completed both another residency in anesthesia and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
Today, Dr. Sandhu is certified by both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine. She has over a decade of aesthetics experience to her name. Although she still practices as an anesthesiologist two days a week, she dedicates the remainder of her working week to helping patients look and feel their best at New Image Medical Spa.
She cares deeply about patient education, taking the time to explain treatment options to each patient. Once they decide on a service or services, she ensures they know exactly what to expect during and after their treatment.
Then, she personally performs all services. No nurses or physician assistants are involved, allowing her to control the quality of care. Dr. Sandhu is dedicated to delivering top-tier aesthetic services to every single one of her patients.
