LORETTA LYNN'S KITCHEN AND GIFT SHOP
Loretta Lynn was born in Butcher Holler Kentucky in 1932, rose to stardom throughout the 1960’s, and in 1966 she purchased 3500 acres of land in Hurricane Mills, TN, soon to be known world-wide as “Loretta Lynn’s Ranch”. During the 1970’s, Jimmy and Larry Sanders managed and operated Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, introducing amateur motocross races, a waterslide, and a small restaurant on a hill. In 1981 the brothers partnered with Loretta and her husband, Mooney, to open a bigger restaurant and gift shop off of Exit 143. Since opening, LLK has catered to families, truckers, and Country Music stars like George Jones and Billy Ray Cyrus. More than 40 years later, the restaurant is still owned and operated by the same family and continues to partner with Loretta Lynn Enterprises to bring a taste of the south to fans of Loretta both young and old.
