LOPEZ VILLAGE MARKET

Everything You Need & More
Lopez Village Market has long prided itself in being a full service grocery store. Many visitors to the island are often surprised not only by our vast selection in each department and the high quality of products, but also by our very competitive prices. When you visit, you’ll be greeted with a smile and given the help from our professional and friendly staff that all of our regulars have come to expect from Lopez Village Market and it’s employees.
Family Owned & Operated
In 1959 William Carpenter Sr. opened Lopez Store (in the building that is now The Fudge Factory). His son William Jr. and wife Bonnie joined him in 1965. Together in 1975, they built Lopez Village Market.
Over the years, Lopez Village Market has grown, continuing to meet the needs of it’s customers. In 2010, Bill, along with his daughter Christine, opened the doors of the new Lopez Village Market at 162 Weeks Road in Lopez Village.
Following the traditions established by those who came before them, Christine and partner Richard Brown continue to provide quality products, convenient services and exceptional customer service to the people of Lopez Island and to those that visit their island home.
Commitment To Community
Lopez Village Market has long been a central part of the Lopez Community. From buying 4-H market animals at the County Fair and sponsoring Lopez Baseball teams, to countless donations to fundraisers, auctions, dinners and events, LVM consistently supports the efforts of its friends and customers. Lopez Village Market believes in building a stronger business community by buying locally, spending locally and investing locally and in turn, helping to strengthen the entire community.
