Long Beach Hose & Coupling Co., Inc. was established in 1988 after our Founder Raul Alcala Sr. initially worked at North American Hose for 8 years. He started the business in our original building at Santa Fe and 16th Street. We grew rapidly in 2 years and soon needed a much bigger space.

In 1990 we moved into a facility on 15th Street. Our hose business continued to expand quickly, and we soon outgrew our second building in 5 years. In 1995 we moved to our 3rd location at 15th Street and Santa Fe.

We built our reputation on carrying a large in-stock inventory of hose products. Our goal was straightforward – help customers avoid costly downtime. We utilized our in-stock inventory to get customers back to work faster.
