More than 34 years ago when the first homeless man knocked on the door at 2750 McKelvey Road our founders, Dr’s Donald C. and Dorothy M. Femmer could not have imagined all the needs of their food pantry and makeshift shelter would eventually meet. Originating as a small food pantry and shelter for men, Loaves and Fishes now provide shelter for more than 200 families and food for hundreds of families/individuals each year.
