My daughter and I were both public school teachers. I went on to be an assistant principal and later a principal. I retired in 2019 and began to help my daughter and son-in-law with their goat farm. I started researching products made with goat’s milk soap and before long my house turned into a makeshift chemistry lab.
I experimented with different soap-making processes until I finally settled on the hot process method using crock pots to “cook” the soap. My daughter, Bridget, decided to quit teaching in 2020 to work on the business. What was once a hobby quickly became a full-time job. We have made a wide variety of products using goat’s milk.
We listen to what our customers’ needs/ wants are and do our very best to develop something to fit those needs. Several products in our line are a result of these requests. We are always learning and striving to make our products better. With the help of our community, our business has grown over the past few years and we look forward to continuing our “from the goat to the soap” commitment.
