HARRODS CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH

Twenty-two Christians of Green Castle Baptist Church, who had bought and built homes at Harrods Creek, Kentucky, three miles away from their church, organized Harrods Creek Baptist Church in 1891. With poor convenience to go back and forth, they decided to get their letters of dismissal and organize a church, which would be convenient for them to attend. Their letters were granted and Reverend John Rody organized a church and was elected as a pastor, holding services in the school building.
