Our goal is to enter into partnerships with families currently living in inadequate housing, who wish to own a home of their own.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit non-denominational Christian housing organization, dedicated to eliminating poverty and homelessness.
We welcome all people to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those in need of adequate shelter.
Homes are built from volunteer labor, private donations, and the hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” by each partner family.
Habitat for Humanity does not discriminate according to race, religion, or ethnic group.
Habitat is not a giveaway program. It is a hand up not hand out. In addition to a down payment and monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor “sweat equity” into building their Habitat house and the houses of others.
Habitat houses are affordable for low income families because there is no profit included in the sale price.
Mortgage length varies from seven to thirty years.
Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller in Americus, Georgia.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Moses Lake was founded in 1997 with construction efforts beginning in 1998. As of 2016, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Moses Lake has built 13 homes.
