Dr. Sonia Ponce, MD, Community Cardiology Clinic
Dr. Sonia G. Ponce received her medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She continued her medical training and completed an Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Dr. Ponce completed a research fellowship at the University of California San Diego.
Dr. Ponce is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of California San Diego, School of Health Sciences. She has admission privileges at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista and Scripps Mercy San Diego.
She is fluent in Spanish and English.
