DEAVRA DAUGHTRY
Deavra A. Daughtry, President and CEO of Excellent Care Management, one of the nation’s largest personal in-home care agencies; started as a sole proprietorship operating from the trunk of her car, and now employs over 600 people with services in over 30 counties surrounding the Greater Houston Area. Deavra was born in Houston, Texas and has persevered to overcome tremendous odds to emerge as one of the most influential business women and philanthropist in the area. An innovative business woman and passionate philanthropist, she is the CEO of Excellent Care Management a subsidiary of Excel E Care Home Health Care; Owner & President of Platinum Results Marketing; Owner & President of International Décor & Events and CEO of Purpose to Blessings Productions.
One of Deavra’s proudest accomplishments is the formation of TWEF International and The International Empowerment Foundation (IEF). The foundations serve as a resource to families by providing them with the tools needed to achieve and maintain a sense of empowerment, while being inspired to reach their personal and professional goals. Since its inception in 2002, TWEF/IEF has touched over 100,000 people through seminars and workshops and given over $20,000 in scholarships. In 2006 Deavra decided to leverage her personal resources and invest $800,000 in the construction of the Empowerment Event Center, in which she hosts monthly empowerment seminars, most of which are free to the public. The foundation’s most notable event is the International Financial and Leadership Summit (IFLS). This four (4) day event is held annually in Houston, Texas, bringing together international leaders in business, finance, government, entertainment and education to honor them for their contributions to the international community while raising funds for student scholarships.
Deavra Daughtry holds a Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of Humanity degrees from Logos Christian College and Graduate Schools. She serves on local, national and international boards of directors, including the Comerica Bank Community Development Advisory Council, the Dominion Community Development Corporation and the International Third World Leaders Association. She has published three books, “From Purpose to Blessings”, “Yes, You Can Make It” and “Deavra’s Million Dollar Secrets” to encourage others to find their purpose and pursue their dreams. Of all Deavra’s accomplishments, however, the one that gives her the greatest sense of peace is her role as mother to her two beautiful children, Chaz and Ebone.
