The Croatian parish of Sts. Cyril and Methodius and St. Raphael’s is a Roman Catholic parish and is part of the Archdiocese of New York. The parish is located in the central part of Manhattan at 502 W 41st Street, New York, NY 10036, near the entrance to the ” Lincoln ” tunnel.
Although as a parish it’s been in existence for 100 years, it has been in this location and under this name since 1974. It was created through the merger of two parishes, the parish of St. Raphael and the Croatian parish of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, which was located 10 city blocks north of today’s address. The church and the parish is a center of the religious and cultural life of the Croatian community of the metropolis and its environs. All liturgies and sacraments are mainly in the Croatian language. In addition to the regular sacramental life, within the parish, there are folk groups and the school of the Croatian language, which proudly bears the name of Blessed Aloysius Stepinac.
