The Coquille Student Loan Fund has existed in Coquille since 1960 and is operated by local parents and interested citizens. Coquille high school graduates, properly registered home-school graduates and graduates under mutual agreement
are all eligible to apply.
Loans are available up to $3,000 per school year, and there is a $6,000 total loan limit. Interest currently is 3% per annum
and is payable yearly. Repayment of principal is scheduled over the six years following graduation or termination of schooling.
Parents are required to co-sign for the loan.
