A family Practitioner specializes in the care of the entire family. A residence in Family Practice consists of 2-3 years of training after medical school. A Family Practice resident has rotations in almost all specialties.
Approximately 90-95% of medical problems can be diagnosed and/or treated by a family physician.
This office treats patients for general medical care (complete physicals, diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, diabetes, lung disorders, etc.), gynecology (Pap smears), dermatology, minor surgery (removal of warts, cysts), pediatrics, geriatrics (over age 65), as well as numerous other medical problems.
