CATHEDRAL OF CHRIST THE LIGHT
Cathedral of Christ the Light, Oakland Diocese - Oakland, CA
Welcome! Our parish community is made up of families and singles, children and seniors, all representing a wide diversity of ethnicities, races, varied interests, and backgrounds. People who come through our Great Doors include tourists, visitors, current members, friends from throughout the Diocese, and seekers open to where God may be leading them.
The size and array of services, classes, programs, and events can be overwhelming. To help you get connected, we recommend the following:
Worship with us: The first step to becoming involved in any parish community is to worship there. Participating in the Mass lets you try out and see if this community is the one which you wish to make your spiritual home. For a list of our regularly scheduled masses.
Join us for Hospitality: following the Sunday 8:00 AM Mass (Vietnamese), 10:00 AM Stational Mass (English), 12:00 Noon Mass (English), and 2:00 PM Spanish Mass (Every 4th Sunday of the month). Hospitality after Mass is an informal, relaxed time to meet parishioners, clergy, and staff of The Cathedral of Christ the Light.
Stop by the Visitors’ Information Services “VIS” desk: If you would like information about our Cathedral, the parish, sacraments, faith formation, or how to get involved as a volunteer. More information is available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or stopping by the cathedral parish office, open Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm.
