CANINE COUNTRY CLUB
Learn to professionally groom dogs, in a relaxing atmosphere. Our pleasant, newly refurbished home offers comfortable accommodation while you gain hands-on experience grooming dogs and cats, at Canine Country Club, Inc. located adjacent to the property.
The instructors at the school are nationally certified in the following groups:
Sporting
Non-sporting
Terrier
We have certified as far as you can go, without testing for our Master Groomer certification. Although there is no way to teach you in eight weeks what it took us years to learn, we can start you off in the right direction for becoming Nationally certified when your skills reach that level.
Although our school has existed for many years, under different names we feel that an industry this vast cannot go unregulated for ever. There is already a bill before the house that may become law, requiring Federal regulation of all groomers. After becoming Nationally certified last year, we now feel that we are better qualified to help students learn the proper requirements needed to go on to be Nationally certified themselves.
As well as hands-on experience in class, students will have plenty to study for homework as well as weekly tests, to ensure their understanding of subject material. Homework is based on learning breed profiles of the specific dogs you will be required to test with for National certification.
