Calvary Baptist is an Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church. We seek to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ through personal soul-winning and world missions. For decades we have run busses all over the Memphis region and even into Mississippi bringing folks to church that needed transportation. We are an active, friendly, and exciting church. We seek to minister to and strengthen the entire family. At Calvary Baptist, we are focused on your family! The teaching and preaching are practical, powerful, and passionate. The messages are Bible-based, down-to-earth, and straight forward. We believe and use only the King James Bible and come to church to hear what God has to say to us through His Word. Our music is conservative, Christ-honoring, soul-stirring, and heart-warming. We believe in separation from the world and unto Christ. We believe Christianity is not something we put on for a Sunday service; it is a way of life. Most of all, we believe in loving God and loving others. Our hope and prayer are that everyone who enters the door of Calvary will feel the love of God through the members of Calvary.
