BELTON ENGINEERING INC. was founded by Lina Chtay, in association with David N. Mojica, in 2011. They teamed up, and laid out a plan to generate and found this company, aimed at creating an effective standardized program instituted to help reduce cost in engineering and construction, by simplifying design, establishing better communication with clients, and dedicating more funds to training and acquiring new technology. With a cumulative experience record of forty (40) years in the central Texas area, their transition to this company began in September of 2010. Having the advantage that their reputations of quality production remained intact, they set out to pick a location as close as possible to their professional history. Furthermore, the familiarity with the area allowed for more time dedicated to design, rather than infrastructure data collection.
