Ananda Dharma Center is a Tibetan Buddhist Dharma Center in the same lineage as H.H. the Dalai Lama. We are part of the Gelug tradition, and we also respect and uphold the whole of the Buddha Dharma, including other traditions and lineages. We were founded in 2005 by H.E. Choden Rinpoche and his chief disciple, Geshe Gyaltsen Kungka. We offer teachings, retreats, and host other spiritual events.
Our programs explore how the universal wisdom and compassion of the ancient Buddhist tradition can transform our own lives, as well as bring practical benefits to the world. We welcome spiritual seekers of all faiths.
We are spiritually affiliated with Awaking Vajra, which is a separate international organization honoring & fulfilling Choden Rinpoche’s vision worldwide. Ananda is a more localized community of practitioners.
