AFRO-AMERICAN CLUB
Happy 2022! I hope that everyone celebrated a safe and happy holiday with friends and family. 2021 was somewhat challenging, but we survived.
I pray that 2022 will bring you good health, prosperity, and blessings as we start our new program year.
Our December 2021 activities wrapped up two community projects. The AACCC partnered with Charlene Bostick, a Citrus County schools community leader, to bring Christmas and New Year joy to 10 families. Our Club members donated and wrapped gifts (a $2000 contribution) for 29 local students.
Our individual members gave generously to the 2021 Haitian and Virgin Island catastrophic fund by purchasing essential contributions for many in need. We want to thank Ted Holmes and his son, who have been recognized for exemplary volunteer service and leadership in catastrophic events nationally and internationally, for heading up these Club efforts.
The Club elected a new slate of officers for 2022. The officers will be installed at the January 10, 2022 meeting at 5:30 pm at the Beverly Hills Community Building, 1 Civic Circle, Beverly Hills, Florida.

January is the time we begin to look to the future and plan our next Club year. We encourage you to renew your membership, attend meetings and pay your annual $25 dues. Most importantly, please get active and involved in the operation and committees of the Afro-American Club of Citrus Country. We need you!
