Our Beginning
God spoke to Young and Penny Reed in 2007. He told them to saddle up they were going to Africa to preach the Gospel. To prepare them for their journey God brought Africa to them. In 2012, the Young and Penny met an Ethiopian woman in a restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri. She asked for prayer, they prayed. Later she came to their home in Farmington with a carload of people seeking the Word, hungering for Jesus. The following week another carload. Each week for a year they kept coming for prayer and the Word of God.
January 2013, a youngman from Eritrea asked Young and Penny to accompany him to Kenya for his wedding. He wanted them to stand in for his deceased parents and minister to the people. So, the Jesus Cowboy and the Jesus Kid went to Kenya and Uganda and began Africa HO! Ministries to share the love of Jesus Christ and His message of salvation.

A Unique Opportunity
Africa HO! Ministries is a small organization reaching thousands of people. God chose us to love unconditionally. The Africans have asked us many times why we love them. We do because Jesus loved them first.
