“The sky is the limit; moving through false belief is like a ray of bright light breaking through dark clouds. Tears. Healing is feeling.”
I have been practicing Holistic and Integrative Acupuncture for almost 40 years. My main intention has been and is to empower patients to find pathways back to health by examining underlying fears, anxieties, and false beliefs. Often the gap between our internalized stress and the stories we tell ourselves can create symptoms, yet we are not aware of their originality. Growing up in Israel allowed me to personally understand that our internal wars and societal’s external wars have similar effects on the body. Beyond my formal education in the USA and China, most of my more vivid learning was from my grandmother and mother. I saw how they integrated herbs in cooking balanced food and how my family used cupping for various ailments.
I obtained my Master’s Degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in SF. During this time, I was in an intensive internship at the Guangzhou (Canton) Hospital in the People’s Republic of China where I learned to integrate Eastern and Western medicine. After this experience, I continued my education by studying with worldwide acupuncture masters. I then taught Acupuncture/Integrative Medicine at Napa Valley College from 1988-1990. Throughout my career, I have given multiple lectures at many institutions. I specialize in the following areas: infertility and gynecological issues, cancer, autoimmune disorders and pain management.
My goal is to create peace whether it be peace of mind, peace of body, or peace of spirit and soul. These types of peace are integrated into the medicine that I practice. Art has been always a big part of my life, in particular, oil painting and mosaic. Beyond my healing work, my main pride and joy is my three children and three grandchildren.
