Hello! I am Vita Golub-Ginsburg, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in the treatment of life transitions, anxiety and mood disorders, grief and loss and trauma. I believe in a collaborative approach that builds on the existing strengths of my clients. People find me warm and intuitive, and enjoy my playfulness, curiosity, sense of humor and gentleness. My goal of treatment is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment through which we will work collaboratively to address the issues you bring.
I incorporate a number of therapeutic techniques including EMDR, hypnosis, sensorimotor psychotherapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused approaches and insight oriented techniques.
I do both online and in-person psychotherapy. However, at this point in time, I am only working virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
