Hathaway Piano Studio
My name is Colleen Hathaway and I love being a piano teacher! I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters in Music in piano performance from the University of North Dakota and have been teaching private piano lessons since 2010. I have taught students from preschool all the way up to age 70 and have been an instructor at the college level. Besides teaching, I have been active as a church musician and accompanist for choirs and soloists. I focus on a variety of skills in the lessons including basic and advanced music knowledge, theory, technique, musicality, and collaboration. I provide performance opportunities for students and encourage them to use music as a form of expression and personal growth. I look forward to sharing my musical knowledge and watching students grow in their musical abilities and confidence!
