Sebert Oil Company

After returning to DeKalb County from World War II Dwight Sebert had a desire to serve the people of his home county. In 1947, Dwight L. Sebert was offered a position as an agent for Standard Oil Company in the Butler area. In 1975 Standard Oil became Amoco and the Seberts role changed from agent to jobber. At that time, Dwights son Mike and son-in-law Rick Everhart joined the business, which became Sebert Oil Company INC. In 1994, Sebert Oil added propane as a home heating fuel. In 2008, Mike Seberts son, Randy joined the business as its gasoline and fuel delivery driver. In 2015 Mikes other son, Rory, joined and began to run the fuel transport. Sebert Oil has grown into a Third Generation family owned and operated supplier of liquid fuels, and propane. In 2017 Sebert Motor Carriers was born as a sister company to begin operations serving the fuel transportation industry at large.
