Sleepy Creek Farms
Sleepy Creek Farms has been in operation for over 15 years. SCF was founded in 2003 originally as Harrells farms with only 52 acres of blueberries planted which included a single pond for irrigation. From small beginnings, we have grown over the years, and with the help of our employees, staff and of course our fresh berries, we expanded and built our Packing house facility in 2006 to pick and pack our own berries. By 2010, we expanded to 400 acres of blueberry producing bushes. The subsequent years; 2013-2015, SCF experienced continued growth with an additional 200 acres. Our own in house Sleepy Creek Farm label continues to drive our expansion, growth and gaining market share. In an effort to further grow our business and provide a direct product, numerous capital investments have been made in 2017 (building expansions, additional cooling space). These investments allow us to offer our product directly from our field to your table. Ultimately delivering quality products to our customers is our number one priority and we strive to excel in benchmarking our industry.
