Longhorn Custom Coating’s founders, Bill and Charlene Meister, built Longhorn with son Billy Meister as a division of their firmly established sucker rod coating company, Meister Industries, Inc. in 1969. Bill and Billy worked closely with major oil producers at the time developing methods and testing materials in order to provide an affordable process for protecting production piping against corrosion. These relationships have lasted the test of time making Longhorn a trusted partner when corrosion protection is needed. The goal at Longhorn has always been quality, prompt delivery, and above all, unequalled service. Bill and Billy have since passed leaving a strong enduring company that is still proudly, family owned and operated by Charlene, Laurynn, Jennifer and Billy Meister, Jr.
