The founder and principal investigator of the company, Larry Stillwell, has conducted archaeological field work in Indiana since 1988 and has authored at least 800 field survey reports within the State of Indiana alone. He has a B.A. from the University of Maryland, and an M.A. from Ball State University. Mr. Stillwell worked many years for Ball State as a Staff Archaeologist and for Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne as Assistant Director of the Contract Archaeology program. He has conducted hundreds of field surveys, literature reviews/record searches and various subsurface testing projects. He is a member of the Indiana Archaeological Council and is certified in both field archaeology and historic archaeology. Mr. Stillwell is certified to conduct archaeological investigations in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and Illinois.
